Every finding, still tied to the conversation that earned it.
Sinew is a governed knowledge library for people whose work generates conversations: interviews, calls, communities, support threads. It turns them into an auditable graph of evidence, so every answer you pull traces straight back to its source.
Research rarely dies in the room. It dies in the gap afterward.
The insight was real. Six weeks later it's a bullet in a deck nobody can source, buried three tabs deep, or simply gone. When someone asks “how do we actually know that?” the thread back to the words a person said is broken, so the finding can't carry any weight.
One library. Every claim traceable, end to end.
Sinew is built on a single spine: the connective tissue its name points to. Raw material comes in one end; a finding you can defend comes out the other, with the whole chain intact.
Capture
Bring in transcripts, calls, survey exports, and community threads, by hand or by your own agent.
Code
Atomic moments (a quote, an observation, an answer) get coded into a controlled vocabulary.
Find
Coded evidence rolls up into findings, each one showing exactly what it rests on.
Trace
Walk any finding back to the exact words that earned it, across every study, not just this one.
Nothing here is ever orphaned from its source.
Every code application records who did it, AI or a human, and how sure the system is. Trust is the product, and it's visible.
Users abandon onboarding at the workspace step because “team” and “project” read as the same thing.
“I clicked create team, then it asked me to make a project, and I honestly didn't know what the difference was supposed to be.” — P7, moderated usability call
“I made three workspaces before I realized I only needed one.” — P12, onboarding interview
Built for people who accumulate conversations for a living.
I'm building Sinew because I kept needing it and it didn't exist. I've spent years turning messy qualitative material into things people can actually act on. The part that always broke was trust: proving a finding was real, current, and traceable back to a human who said it.
So Sinew treats provenance and lineage as the whole point, not an afterthought. It's early and in private development. If that's a problem you have too, get on the list. I'll bring people in in small waves, and I read every reply.
